Update 29.06.25
Alsolu is part of the Delta Plus Group, which specialises in collective fall protection equipment. It has just completed an ambitious project: the company has invested in state-of-the-art machinery to integrate new manufacturing processes for its cage ladders, guardrails, walkways and technical staircases.
The first two machines will come into service in June 2025. They are a tube laser cutting machine and a tube bender: technologies that will enable Alsolu to bring back operations that were previously outsourced.
‘These two machines will initially improve our production capacity and productivity,’ explains Rémi Moulin, site manager. ‘For example, the laser cutting tool will reduce our production time from 3.5 minutes per piece to 30 seconds.’ These two machines will be able to produce 70,000 pieces per year.
Rémi Moulin adds: ‘These machines will also improve our responsiveness and agility, particularly when it comes to requests for customised parts. This will enable us to respond more closely to our customers' needs and improve our quality of service.’
This major investment has been supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region with a 20% contribution as part of the Reloc package, which has three objectives:
This investment is part of the strategy of the Delta Plus Group, which aims to:
Finally, this modernisation of industrial facilities is accompanied by a dynamic human resources policy: ‘This project will enable us to hire five people and upskill our employees by integrating new, more advanced technologies,’ explains Rémi Moulin. Specific training courses have already been conducted.
By the end of 2025, Alsolu should welcome the last piece of this investment phase: an aluminium welding robot.
"This tool will enable us to become more competitive in an increasingly competitive market and open up new business opportunities. It will also improve the working conditions of weldersby taking over repetitive tasks that cause musculoskeletal disorders," concludes Rémi Moulin.
